05/2018 Breastfeeding is added to New Jersey Anti-Discrimination Notices
New Jersey employers must make accommodations to allow women to breastfeed or express breast milk during the work day. Employers must allow breaks during the day for women to express milk or breastfeed, and a private room to do it, the law said. Effective immediately, breastfeeding is now a protected act under the state Law Against Discrimination, according to the legislation
