Are there any laws about rest periods at work in Alaska?

  • There are only laws for employees between the ages of 14 to 17, which mandate a break of 30 minutes if the employee is working for 5 straight hours. There aren't any other laws for employees other than the federal laws governing break time, which doesn't mandate any required break time, only that smaller breaks be paid breaks.
