Outsourced employers and overtime

Hi, I'm currently employed by a company that outsources to India for workers on visa, but also has US employees and offices within the US. None of these jobs can be technically considered a salary job, so they work hourly. The company is forcing the workers to put in at least 60 hours a week (crazy!) but don't pay them any overtime at all. Is this legal? Shouldn't our laws cover them if they're being hired by a US company? Thanks

    American labor laws only apply within the country's own borders. This applies to states as well, meaning New Jersey labor laws for example would not apply in New York, and US labor regulations would not be applicable in India. These employees are not subject to U.S. labor laws.
